Reminisce Festival
Our festival live production at Reminisce combines outside broadcast cameras, live switching, LED screens, livestreaming and event highlights to carry the energy of Sherdley Park to audiences online. Unique online viewers grew by 20 to 25% each year from 2020 to 2025.
Bringing the crowd into one shared festival experience
Reminisce brings thousands of people together for a day of music, memory and shared celebration. For our live production team, the challenge is to make every screen feel part of the same experience, from the audience in Sherdley Park to people joining online.
With several stages, a busy artist schedule and an audience that helps create the atmosphere, the pictures have to respond in real time. Camera coverage, artist content, LED screens and livestream outputs all need to move together while the festival keeps its spontaneous, joyful character.
A coordinated live production built around the crowd
Since 2017, we have led the festival’s live production, bringing cameras, live switching, screen content and distribution into one coordinated workflow. We follow the pace of the performances and the reactions on the field, giving people inside the venue a closer view while carrying the same energy to audiences online.
Our approach also creates useful material beyond the event itself. Livestreams, social content and highlights help Reminisce keep the conversation moving, build anticipation for future events and show the scale and personality of the festival to people deciding whether to attend.
Inside the UK’s Biggest Old Skool Festival
Reminisce brings thousands of people together for an outdoor celebration of dance music at Sherdley Park, St Helens. Legendary artists, familiar anthems and the energy of the crowd shape the festival experience.
oXyFire has led live production for the festival since 2017, matching the joy and energy of the crowd, not only for the big screens, but also translating the atmosphere for livestream audiences watching across the world. Alongside this, the team delivers standout social and highlight content designed to extend the experience beyond the event and drive early ticket demand year after year.
Bringing the party to the people
Our approach puts the audience at the centre of the show, because at Reminisce, the crowd is the core of the experience. We go beyond traditional stage coverage to capture the full festival atmosphere, even taking our ‘hat-cam’ into the crowd to create unexpected, immersive perspectives that bring the energy on the field straight onto the big screen.
By following the rhythm and momentum of each set, working closely with the artists and capturing real-time crowd reactions and shared moments we create an inclusive and joyful experience. Visuals are kept fresh and fast-paced to keep the crowd dancing all day long.
Reminisce continues to grow as one of the UK’s most distinctive festival experiences, with live production playing a central role in shaping its identity and amplifying the atmosphere long after the music stops. Highlights content has been a key driver in increased ticket demand year-on-year, helping to build anticipation and expand the brand into new formats, with complementary events including Reminisce Classical.
Festival scale and online audience
Reminisce Festival has a capacity of 25,000 people. The St Helens Star’s September 2025 report also describes repeated sellouts in recent years. Capacity is separate from ticket sales and combined attendance across the weekend.
Reminisce’s unique online audience grew by 20 to 25% each year from 2020 to 2025. This measures unique online viewers, separately from the festival’s physical capacity.
