At Manchester International Festival in 2019, our production work moved between performances, installations and conversations across the city. Jay Rozanski described a week of that work in a diary for Prolific North.
Festival production planning across the city
Working with This World Productions, the programme included School of Integration at Manchester Art Gallery, a remote conversation with David Lynch at HOME and performance coverage for Alphabus.
Students from the University of Salford contributed to the production teams, gaining practical experience of cameras and live mixing. Moving between venues made equipment planning and crew coordination part of the daily routine.
