Case Study

Vektra Kettle: Product Video

A Vektra kettle product advert for Grunwerg, shaped by 18 days of testing and delivered as online and trade show edits.

The Challenge

Turning product features into an everyday sales story

Grunwerg asked us to pitch an online advert for Vektra, which Vektra described as thermally insulated and able to keep boiled water hot for up to four hours.

The film needed to demonstrate the kettle’s features, communicate ease of use and place the product credibly in an everyday lifestyle.

The Solution

Hands on testing shaped a polished lifestyle advert

We used the kettle for 18 days before developing the treatment. Kerry Patrick appeared in the advert and Carina A Birrell supplied the voiceover.

The production delivered a main online film and a separate trade show edit. The team received positive feedback and customer requests to use the film in sales activity.

A product advert grounded in everyday use

Grunwerg invited us to pitch for an online advert introducing the Vektra thermal kettle. Vektra presented the product as the world’s first thermal insulated electric kettle, with boiled water remaining hot for up to four hours.

The film needed to demonstrate useful features, communicate ease of operation and place the kettle naturally within an everyday lifestyle.

Eighteen days of product testing

Before developing the creative treatment, our team used the Vektra kettle for 18 days. Tea and coffee became practical product research, giving the team first hand experience of the controls and daily use.

This testing provided a grounded starting point for the pitch. It helped the production identify the features and moments that could carry the product story on screen.

A sleek lifestyle treatment

We developed a polished visual approach that reflected the Vektra identity. The advert placed the kettle in a modern home setting and showed it as part of a familiar routine.

The lifestyle scenes gave the product context, while closer feature moments carried the practical information. This balance let the film introduce the object, demonstrate its purpose and retain a clean sales focused tone.

Performance and voice completed the advert

Kerry Patrick appeared in the Vektra film and Carina A Birrell supplied the voiceover. Their contributions gave the advert an on screen presence and a clear spoken route through the product story.

The completed main film remains public on our YouTube channel. It provides a direct example of the lifestyle imagery, product demonstration and talent brought together in the final product video.

A dedicated version for trade shows

Alongside the online advert, we prepared a separate edit for trade show use. This gave the client a version shaped for a different viewing environment while drawing from the same core production.

The trade show edit is an important part of the delivery story. It shows how the filmed material was adapted to serve more than one sales setting without assigning an unrecorded runtime or exhibition result.

Positive response to a new sales tool

The Vektra and Grunwerg team received the main advert positively. Customers also asked to use the film within their own sales activity.

No sales total is attached to that response. The confirmed outcome is practical and useful: one production created an online product advert, supported customer interest and supplied a second edit for trade shows.
