MyBrymec: Training Animation Production

A MyBrymec training teaser developed through detailed design, storyboards, voiceover timing, vector artwork and regular client reviews.

The Challenge

Introducing a new ordering system in a short animation

Brymec commissioned several short online training tools for customers using its new ordering system, together with a concise animated teaser.

The teaser needed to explain the advantages clearly, hold attention and remain consistent with the wider training material.

The Solution

A reviewed animation built from voiceover to vectors

We created a detailed design document and storyboards around Brymec’s supplied voiceover, then developed the characters, settings and supporting artwork.

Timing stills, vector production and regular reviews kept the client involved through sign off. Brymec was delighted and recommended us for similar work.

Training animation for a new ordering system

Brymec approached we in April 2013 to create several short online training tools for customers using its new ordering system. A short animated teaser was developed alongside that material.

The teaser needed to introduce the advantages of the system in an engaging form and sit coherently with the wider training content. This case focuses on that animated piece.

A detailed design document established the plan

We began by creating a detailed design document. It turned the approved idea into a practical production plan and gave the client a clear basis for reviewing the proposed animation.

The document connected the narrative, key scenes and direction notes. This established a shared reference before the team moved into character, location and asset development. Decisions could be reviewed in context, with the voiceover and visual sequence considered as parts of the same training story.

Storyboards followed the supplied voiceover

Brymec supplied the voiceover script. We paired its spoken sequence with storyboard scenes and production direction, building the visual story around the client’s approved words.

This stage let both teams examine the order and purpose of each scene before full animation. The storyboard became a bridge between the voice track and the images that would explain the ordering journey.

Characters, locations and expressions

After the early idea and storyboards were approved, the team developed the characters, locations, backgrounds and supporting artwork. Sketches gave those elements their shape before they became production assets.

Client feedback led to extra facial detail for the characters, helping the finished scenes carry the expressions required by the story. That revision is a useful example of animation decisions being tested while change was still efficient.

Timing tested before full animation

We placed still images against the voiceover to test the flow and timing. This gave the team a view of the complete sequence before the vector animation was fully built.

Timing stills helped identify where a scene needed more space, where the visual explanation could move forward and how the soundtrack, voice and imagery would work together. They also gave Brymec another useful review point before the most detailed production stage.

Vector production with regular client reviews

The characters and settings were built as vector assets and moved into animation production. Regular Brymec reviews kept the client involved as the voiceover, soundtrack and visual sequence came together.

The finished MyBrymec teaser explained the ordering system in a concise animated format. The staged workflow connected planning, design, timing and review through to the approved film. Brymec was delighted with the work and recommended us for similar projects.
