ABBA Voyage: UK livestream technical production
Connecting London to Sweden
Chrome Productions brought us into the UK contribution to the ABBA Voyage announcement. Benny and Björn joined presenter Zoe Ball at London’s ArcelorMittal Orbit.
The interview needed a live connection to Telepathic’s production control room in Sweden. Changing daylight outside the windows also affected the lighting.
Technical direction with fallback routes
Jay Rozanski was technical director for the UK contribution, with Chris Burton also working on the production. Our role covered cameras, connectivity and communications.
The setup included spare camera equipment, alternative connectivity, backup mixing and battery supported power, giving the team options if the main production path failed.
